Goodwood Oval is the home of the successful Goodwood Saints Australian Rules Football Club (who have won 20 senior premierships), the Goodwood Turf Cricket Club and Hockey club.

Our association with this facility began when we were asked to evaluate the existing irrigation system for the facility. We undertook a WISE audit and this flagged that this asset was not able to be upgraded it needed to be replaced. This was due to inconsistent and wide sprinkler spacings along with aged infrastructure and significant pressure variations.

A couple of years later the council engaged Aquatek to design and specify a new irrigation system for the facilities. This was carried out and fully implemented using our unique integrated digital solution.

The result is a fantastic outdoor facility for community sport and recreation and an asset that provides best practice irrigation techniques and management tools.

This facility has been identified by council as a site that will utilize recycled water in the near future and the design encompasses and considers these requirements.
