Adelaide Shores - Irrigation Management Planning

Adelaide Shores is the largest multi-facility tourist and leisure park in Adelaide. It incorporates golf courses, sports fields, tourist parks, leisure facilities and general community landscape.

It has a vast and wide array of irrigation and water supply systems and is predominantly supplied by recycled water from SA Water's Glenelg Waste Water treatment plant.

Aquatek was engagaed by Adelaide shores to collect data, create and produce water strategy and irrigation management planning for the facility.

This was a very complex task due to the multi faceted systems, management strucutres, regulatory and environmental constraints and historical practices.

Aquatek liased with all stakeholders and developed a core irrigation management plan along with recommended water management practices and issues for the site.

The processes used on this project were early generation WISE development and software analysis tools and set the path for the client to grow from and for us to develop the technology we have today.
