Mr Ivan Swinstead, Course Superintendent:
“Darren Ferber and his company Aquatek were contracted by the Tea Tree Gully Golf Club to design and implement the installation of a new irrigation system on the golf course. Aquatek was responsible for the design, tender, administration and evaluation and supervision of the construction. Tea Tree Gully Golf Club and myself were extremely satisfied with Aquatek’s management and involvement in this project from beginning to end. The working relationship between Aquatek’s and the club’s staff during the installation process was a key factor in the smooth running of the overall project.

We are confident that our new system not only provides a more even and improved turf surface, it also is using considerably less water than our old system. We are tracking and monitoring this under guidance from Aquatek.
We were very impressed with Aquatek’s experience in irrigation design and water management issues which was very beneficial when working with the committee and myself.

I would have no hesitation in recommending Aquatek to any potential customer as being a leader in their field able to add value to any irrigation entity."

Mr Daryl Sellar, Glenelg Golf Club:
“From the outset the course redevelopment at Glenelg has been about producing a course that is more sustainable for the future, with better quality playing surfaces and a strong focus on environmental stewardship.

A key component in achieving these outcomes was always going to be our overall water management strategies, and in particular, irrigation management.

Engaging an Irrigation Consultant who could share the vision and help develop a plan to see us through the various stages of redevelopment work efficiently was vital.

Aquatek have not only provided solutions to our immediate needs in terms of irrigation system upgrades, but have been actively involved in assisting us develop management systems that will allow us to be better prepared for tighter regulation of water supplies into the future as well.

There is still a great deal of work to be undertaken at Glenelg, and I look forward to working with Aquatek through these projects, and would have no hesitation recommending them to any other turf manager.”
